GOLD COAST DAY TEN
We had to get up at 4:30am as we were leaving at 5:30am to get to Brisbane airport by 7:30am. The plane was meant to leave at 9:30am but it was delayed until 10am. We had some breakfast in the food court with Elaine and David before going through the departure gates – mum and Elaine cried! The flight back was a bit boring as we didn’t have our own TV screens but I read my book Charlotte and the Starlit and played my Nintendo. Dad picked us up at Auckland Airport then later on we picked up Harry from his holiday programme at Onehunga.
My holiday was a fantastic experience and I would love to go back again. Next time I want to go to Wet ‘n’ Wild and I will force my mum to go on all the rides and get really, really wet! This time I had saved up $200 to take with me but next time I will save heaps more – maybe $800 if I can?!!!???

Hi Georgia. I’ve really enjoyed reading your blog and looking at the photos. It sounds like you had a great time. I hope Terry and I can go and stay with Elaine and David sometime soon as there are lots of things I would like to do, like riding a camel. Have you ever ridden an elephant? I rode one a few weeks ago in a park in Indonesia. It was much easier than I thought it would be. The elephant’s name was Meli and she was 17 years old. Love from Chris.

Hi Georgia,
I really enjoyed reading your blog, all about your holiday here. Both David & I are so pleased you had a good time. You are welcome to come anytime you like. I think its a good idea to save up $800. You saw so many things you wanted to buy didnt you? I am so glad you liked the black dress I got you. I could tell you really, really loved it and I knew it would go so well with your new silver shoes. You will look beautiful in it when you wear it to High School Musical. Can you please send me a picture when you are all dressed up?
We both miss having you and your Mother here with us and hope it wont be too much longer before you come back to stay with us. Dont make it too long or David will have finished reading the phone book!
All our love – xxxx
